This is a modern day take on Holmes and Watson. For Holmes, rather than the deerstalker and tweed coat, think of a donkey jacket over a hoodie. For Baker Street London, think flat 1a, 22 Baker Street Teesside- you get the picture. A man who has been convicted for hacking amongst other things. Watson is his psychologist to whom he has been sent by the court for counselling. The pair find themselves detecting a crime, quite by accident. One investigation leads to another and Holmes still has that wonderful talent for putting things together to work out clues- only this time it's very much with a sense of humour all round.

I really enjoyed this- its a light hearted read which kept me interested and smiling all the way through. I liked both Holmes and Watson and this take on the classic duo. There are several cases each split through the book into sections, each with Holmes’s take on detection. I smiled through each and every one and didn't want the book to end, it was so entertaining. A brilliant, cleverly thought out read with some stunning one liners if you are on the ball. A huge 5*
